A global power shifting new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Donald Trump warningly posted yesterday: The Islamic Republic of Iran shot at least four One Way Attack Drones at Ships transversing the Strait of Hormuz...One of the Drones solidly hit the upper deck of a large and very expensive Cargo Carrying Ship...Damage was done, but the Ship was able to proceed on its way...We knocked down three other Drones...Obviously, this is a foolish violation of our Ceasefire Agreement”, says in quick response, top Iranian national security official Ebrahim Azizi declared: “The Strait of Hormuz is governed by Iran, so respect the rules and do not mistake control for escalation,,,This is not a violation of the ceasefire; it is ceasefire management”.
Swiftly following Iran announcing yesterday: “Any transit through the Strait must follow the routes announced by Iran; otherwise, the security of vessels cannot be guaranteed”, this report notes, American warplanes launched airstrikes on Iranian coastal targets, after which Vice President J.D. Vance warningly posted: “Iran signed a ceasefire agreement...We have honored it...If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being applied, they can pick up the phone...But violence will be met with violence”.
Instead of picking up the phone and calling Vice President Vance, this report continues, Iran declared about the American airstrikes: “Not even a fly was hit”—the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced: “The US terrorist army’s aerial strikes on Iran’s coastal monitoring facilities constitute a clear violation of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter and a blatant breach of Article 1 of the ceasefire MoU...The Islamic Republic of Iran will defend its sovereignty, security, and national interests with all its might”—and it was revealed: “The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy has struck American military targets in the region in retaliation for earlier aggression against Iranian coastal areas”.
Prior to the minor tit-for-tat strikes by America and Iran on each other yesterday, this report details, Iran and Oman agreed on a new framework for the future administration of the Strait of Hormuz—and in viewing the totality of these events, it caused world-renowned retired CIA analyst Larry Johnson to assess: “Instead of marking a return to war, this exchange of fire can best be categorize as military political theater...I believe that Iran, thanks to intel from the Russians or the Chinese, has learned that the US has issued orders that will initiate the return to America of the aircraft, vehicles and troops that had been deployed to the region in preparation for the 28 February attack...Because of the limited damage inflicted by the US attack, I believe that Iran chose to respond in a limited fashion rather than escalate and run the risk of the US cancelling the redeployment order”.
Pushed from the attention of the American peoples yesterday because of these tit-for-tat strikes, this report notes, were the beyond shocking revelations that the United States government is keeping hidden the costly and bloody true facts about the Iranian war, as grimly documented in the Wall Street Journal article “How Iran Devastated an American Naval Base—And Caused A U.S. Recalculation” and the CBS News article “Wounded Soldiers, Families Accuse Army Of Downplaying War Injuries”.
Though hidden from the American peoples, this report concludes, Saudi Arabia knows the true cost of the military political theater game the United States is dangerously playing, making it unsurprising when it was revealed this week: “Saudi Arabia appears to be recalibrating back toward China and Russia after the Iran conflict”—a revelation joined by the New York Times warning today: “No one in Israel is suggesting a pivot to China or Russia quite yet...But those who have studied or steered the U.S.-Israel relationship say that the strains and tensions are fast becoming worrisome for Israel”.
