An insightful new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin warningly declared about the “profoundly illegal and unjust” American-Israeli war on Iran yesterday: “I saw no provocation from Iran...There’s no justification for this attack...Russia will not stand idle while innocent lives are threatened”, says this warning declaration was quickly followed by the news: “The Pentagon is set to cancel a Biden-era agreement to deploy Tomahawk cruise missiles to Germany due to fears that it would provoke a Russian retaliation and concerns over depleted weapons stockpiles”.
Also following the warning declaration issued by President Putin, this report notes, President Donald Trump declared about enriched Iranian nuclear fuel: “I didn’t feel like being like Jimmy Carter...We could get it right now...I don’t think they could stop us if we wanted, but there’s no reason to...It’s entombed”—a declaration joined by video and satellite evidence confirming the truth of Iran revealing: “At 01:30 AM today, four violating oil tankers, provoked and directed by the invading US army, attempted to illegally exit the Strait of Hormuz without coordination and without heeding the warnings issued by the IRGC Navy...After the warning, one of the oil tankers was targeted and stopped, and the other violating vessels turned back...Following this incident, at 2 o’clock, American drones struck a communications facility in Qeshm and another in Sirik with two projectiles...In response to the aggression of the child-killing US army, immediately two US airbases in Kuwait named Ali Al-Salem and the important remaining facilities in the US Fifth Fleet naval base in Bahrain were targeted by ballistic missile fire from the IRGC Aerospace Force”.
After analyzing the contradictory and convoluted Iran war strategy employed by President Trump, this report continues, it caused world-renowned American international war expert Professor Robert Pape at the University of Chicago to assess: “President Donald Trump is escalating the Iran war in the belief that greater force will produce victory...History suggests the opposite...When the stronger state that started a war keeps climbing the escalation ladder, it often falls into what I call the Escalation Trap...That is the path this war may now be taking”.
While President Trump is ensnared in an “escalation trap” exactly like the one that led America to its defeat in the Vietnam War against a much weaker enemy, this report details, CEO Igor Sechin of Russian global energy giant Rosneft observed yesterday: “The closure of the Strait of Hormuz is an attempt to reshape global energy market regulations to benefit the United States...The measures taken to block the strait were aimed at Iran, but backfired on the entire world...The strategic risks were underestimated...The main beneficiaries, of course, were American companies, who gained non-competitive advantages and the ability to secure high-cost supplies”.
In the latest American move to reshape the global energy market, this report notes, it was revealed yesterday: “The Trump Administration is holding its latest lease sale in Alaska on Friday in a test for investors and environmentalists as the auction comprises tracts in the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge...The previous lease sale in March set a record for Alaska with the most revenue generated ever, the most tracts receiving bids, and the second most acreage sold in a single sale”.
Quickly moving to open up for the world the vast energy resources of Alaska, this report concludes, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced yesterday that it signed an agreement with the company designing the tunnel under the Bering Strait to link Russia and America—top President Putin envoy Kirill Dmitriev then proclaimed: “The tunnel through the Bering Strait, which will connect Russia and Alaska, will be built”, and revealed that he is in touch with top President Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and the process of bringing them to Russia again is ongoing.
