Zelensky Travels To Collect “Bozo The Clown” Christmas War Gifts From Biden

An insightful new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin visited the special military operation zone when he worked with the joint staff of troops engaged in the “Special De-Nazification Operation” to liberate Ukraine on 16 December, says this morning, in response to Ukraine’s shelling of Donetsk civilians, President Putin noted: “I call attention to the fact that not a single foreign media outlet or human rights organization has broken the silence on this issue”—and in response to the recent confession made by former German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the socialist Western colonial powers never intended to institute the Minsk Agreement, but used it as secret ploy to arm Ukraine, this morning President Putin factually observed: “Let’s face the truth: Donbass was seeking to resolve the conflict peacefully, and so did Russia, who, as a guarantor nation was doing everything within its power and even more...If only we could foretell back then - based on what we saw during negotiations - that Europe and the West cannot be trusted...They said they were not planning to honor any commitments, that they signed documents only to win time, and rearm Ukraine”.

Earlier today, this report notes, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the state residence in Beijing to convey a message from President Putin—a meeting coming at the same time Russian and Chinese naval forces began a joint week long live fire exercise in the East China Sea—after which President Xi stated: “China takes an objective and fair position on the Ukrainian crisis issue…I hope that the parties concerned will show restraint and start a comprehensive dialogue and eliminate each other’s security concerns through political means”.

As it regards “restraint” in the present crisis, this report continues, President Putin factually told senior Ministry of Defense (MoD) officials today: “It’s well known that today the military potential and capabilities of almost all major NATO countries are being actively used against Russia”—after which at around 12:20 this afternoon (13:20 Moscow time), an air alert was announced in all regions of Ukraine—an air alert that followed Kyiv Governor Oleksiy Kuleba describing the power crisis as being at its worst since the war began, with some 80% of the entire capital region being without electricity for a second day in a row—all of which comes after Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gravely assessed: “I am not an energy specialist, but it seems to me: we are on the verge of a catastrophe...I have no doubt that the Russian army will again go to Kiev...We cannot defend the capital...Our troops are exhausted by battles, they are bleeding”.

While his exhausted bleeding soldiers suffer continuous defeats, and his citizens suffer winter in darkness, this report details, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is expected to arrive in Washington today to meet with his master Supreme Socialist Leader Joe Biden, and in the just published leftist Washington Post article “Biden Administration To Send Patriot Missile System To Ukraine”, sees it revealing: “Ukraine is to receive one Patriot battery, which has up to eight launchers each that hold between four and 16 missiles...A single battery costs about $1 billion, and missiles can run several million dollars each...It is unlikely that the air defense system will arrive in Ukraine before spring”—a revelation quickly followed by President Putin announcing: “We will continue to maintain and improve the combat-readiness of our nuclear triad…This is the main guarantee of preserving our sovereignty and territorial integrity, strategic parity, and the general balance of power in the world”.

After meeting with Socialist Leader Biden, this report notes, President Zelensky will address the United State Congress that just gifted him another $45 billion—a war gift joined by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell declaring: “Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now”—a Christmas war gift for President Zelensky quickly followed by Americans posting messages like: “Another beggar asking for a handout”, “The Times person of the year traveling all the way to another continent to ask for more US tax payer money during a recession and record high inflation” and “Or perhaps to look over real estate in Beverly Hills or Martha's Vineyard…Or both…With all the money we've sent him he can afford the best”—is a socialist Democrat Party controlled Congress whose “third-world kangaroo court” this week also referred President Donald Trump to be criminally charged—and was a criminal referral so comical, it caused even leftist journalist Michael Tracey to observe: “What’s being called a “criminal referral” by the Jan 6 committee carries just as much legal weight as a letter written in magic marker by Bozo the Clown...Has no basis at all in any statute or House rule, they just put out a Word document and made up a serious-sounding name for it...They didn’t even attempt to invoke the one statutory authority they do potentially have at their disposal, the criminal contempt statute (2 USC § 194)…So they just wrote their equivalent of a long Substack screed, and hoped the phrase “criminal referral” would get people excited”.

As to how these “Bozo the Clown” socialist Democrat lawmakers are paying for the Christmas war gifts given to President Zelensky, this report concludes, is documented in the just published Wall Street Journal article “The Ugliest Omnibus Bill Ever”, wherein it reveals: “Congress will pass a bill most Members will never read...The 117th Congress has been the most spendthrift in history, and this week it plans to go out with one final bipartisan back-slapping hurrah—a 4,155-page omnibus spending bill that is the worst in history...This is no way to govern in a democracy, but here we are”—a revelation that joins top geopolitical analysts assessing today: “Peace in Ukraine seems essentially impossible…And there is a reason for this…NATO wants Russia to be completely defeated…Russia in turn demands new pan-European security structures protecting its interests…As long as NATO exists, there will be no peace or security for anyone”—is an assessment that joins former top Pentagon advisor and decorated combat tactical legend retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Ph.D. observing: “Washington can no longer try to impose American or US-led Anglo-American hegemony on the rest of the world...The rest of the world does not want this...To be honest, the Americans themselves do not need it...So the hegemony will collapse and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will accelerate this process...Now the hegemony is coming to an end, because the United States is practically ruined financially...We are talking about $31 trillion dollars of public sovereign debt...We find ourselves in the same position as the United Kingdom in 1947, when, after World War II, the debt-to-GDP ratio of the country was 240 percent”—and in his just released open letter “Washington Is Prolonging Ukraine’s Suffering”, it sees Colonel Macgregor warning:

During a speech given on November 29, Polish Vice-Minister of National Defense (MON) Marcin Ociepa said: "The probability of a war in which we will be involved is very high. Too high for us to treat this scenario only hypothetically."  The Polish MON is allegedly planning to call up 200,000 reservists in 2023 for a few weeks’ training, but observers in Warsaw suspect this action could easily lead to a national mobilization.

Meanwhile, inside the Biden administration, there is growing concern that the Ukrainian war effort will collapse under the weight of a Russian offensive.  And as the ground in Southern Ukraine finally freezes, the administration’s fears are justified. In an interview published in the Economist, head of Ukraine’s armed forces General Valery Zaluzhny admitted that Russian mobilization and tactics are working. He even hinted that Ukrainian forces might be unable to withstand the coming Russian onslaught.

Yet, Zaluzhny rejected any notion of a negotiated settlement and instead pleaded for more equipment and support.  He went on to insist that with 300 new tanks, 600 to 700 new infantry fighting vehicles, and 500 new Howitzers, he could still win the war with Russia.  Truthfully, General Zaluzhny is not asking for assistance, he’s asking for a new army.  Therein lies the greatest danger for Washington and its NATO allies.

When things go badly for Washington’s foreign policy, the true believers in the great cause always draw deeply from the well of ideological self-delusion to steel themselves for the final battle.  Blinken, Klain, Austin, and the rest of the war party continue to pledge eternal support for Kiev regardless of the cost.  Like the “best and the brightest” of the 1960s they are eager to sacrifice realism to wishful thinking, to wallow in the splash of publicity and self-promotion in one public visit to Ukraine after another.

This spectacle is frighteningly reminiscent of events more than 50 years ago, when Washington’s proxy war in Vietnam was failing.  Doubters within the Johnson administration about the wisdom of intervening on the ground to rescue Saigon from certain destruction went into hiding.  In 1963, Washington already had 16,000 military advisors in Vietnam.  The idea that Washington was supporting a government in South Vietnam that might not win against North Vietnam was dismissed out of hand.  Secretary of State Dean Rusk said, “We will not pull out until the war is won.”

By the spring of 1965, American military advisors were already dying.  General Westmoreland, then commander of Military Assistance Command Vietnam, reported to LBJ: “It is increasingly apparent that the existing levels of United States aid cannot prevent the collapse of South Vietnam... North Vietnam is moving in for the kill... Acting on the request of the South Vietnamese government, the decision must be made to commit as soon as possible 125,000 United States troops to prevent the Communist takeover.”

The Biden administration’s unconditional support for the Zelensky regime in Kiev is reaching a strategic inflection point not unlike the one LBJ reached in 1965.  Just as LBJ suddenly determined in 1964 that peace and security in Southeast Asia was a vital U.S. strategic interest, the Biden administration is making a similar argument now for Ukraine. Like South Vietnam in the 1960s, Ukraine is losing its war with Russia.

Ukraine’s hospitals and morgues are filled to capacity with wounded and dying Ukrainian soldiers. Washington’s proxy in Kiev has squandered its human capital and considerable Western aid in a series of self-defeating counter-offensives.  Ukrainian soldiers manning the defensive lines facing Russian soldiers in Southern Ukraine are brave men, but they are not fools. The Spartans at Thermopylae were brave, and they still died.

The real danger now is that Biden will soon appear on television to repeat LBJ’s performance in 1965, substituting the word "Ukraine" for "South Vietnam":

Tonight, my fellow Americans I want to speak to you about freedom, democracy, and the struggle of the Ukrainian people for victory.  No other question so preoccupies our people.  No other dream so absorbs the millions who live in Ukraine and Eastern Europe… However, I am not talking about a NATO attack on Russia.  Rather, I propose to send a U.S. led coalition of the willing, consisting of American, Polish, and Romanian armed forces into Ukraine, to establish the ground equivalent of a “no-fly zone.”  The mission I propose is a peaceful one, to create a safe zone in the Western most portion of Ukraine for Ukrainian Forces and refugees struggling to survive Russia’s devastating attacks…

Disaster wrapped in rhetoric is not the way to save the people of Ukraine.  The war in Ukraine is not a Call of Duty fantasy. It is an enlargement of the human tragedy that NATO’s eastward expansion created.  The victims do not live in North America.  They live in a region that most Americans can't find on a map.  Washington urged the Ukrainians to fight.  Now Washington must urge them to stop.

NATO’s governments are divided in their thinking about the war in Ukraine. Except for Poland and, possibly, Romania, none of NATO’s members are in a rush to mobilize their forces for a long, grueling war of attrition with Russia in Ukraine.  No one in London, Paris, or, Berlin wants to run the risk of a nuclear war with Moscow.  Americans do not support going to war with Russia, and those few who do are ideologues, shallow political opportunists, or greedy defense contractors.

When U.S. forces finally withdrew from Southeast Asia, Americans thought that Washington would exercise greater restraint, recognize the limits of American power, and pursue a less militant, and more realistic foreign policy.  Americans were mistaken then, but Americans and Europeans know now that Washington’s refusal to acknowledge Russia’s legitimate security interests in Ukraine and negotiate an end to this war is the path to protracted conflict and more human suffering.
