Point Of No Return” Reached As Biden Refuses To Tell Americans “Ukraine Will Not Win This War

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin revealing the level of poverty decreased to 10.5% by the end of the third quarter while the nominal growth in incomes amounted to 12.8% in the first nine months of this year, says the massive wealth accumulated by the Russian Federation over the past year enabled Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu to assess this morning: “Next year, considering extra budget funds, the defense procurement plan will practically grow by 50%...This will help ensure that constant alert units and formations are 97% supplied with armaments and hardware”.

In regards to the Russian decision to postpone a meeting of the Bilateral Consultative Commission under the Russia-United States New START Nuclear Arms Treaty originally scheduled to take place in Cairo from 29 November to 6 December, this report notes, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova plainly stated today: “The United States is planning to send more weapons to the region of the conflict in which Russia has been involved...So, they will keep supplying all those arms and goad the Kiev regime into committing more bloodshed, while allocating funds for extremist activities conducted under the authority of individuals on Bankovaya Streat, where the Ukrainian presidential office is located, who are far from being rational people...Why would we sit down to discuss mutual security issues with them, including those in their interests?”.

Instead of nuclear arms treaty talks, this report continues, the United States should be addressing why it still refuses to force Ukraine to the negotiating table to end the needless bloodshed, about which top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov observed: “Peace negotiations could only start between Russia and Ukraine if Moscow sees genuine political will on Kiev's part to engage in dialogue...It has to be political will, readiness to discuss those Russian demands which have long been known”—an observation quickly followed by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen publically stating: “More than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed so far, and around 20,000 civilian lives have also been lost amid the fighting, which has continued since late February”—quickly after which the European Commission removed data on losses among the Ukrainian military from the statement made by their own president—a censoring of truth that caused Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev to exclaim: “It is obvious that ‘Aunt Ursula’ was slapped upside the head by her bosses in Washington...There is no EU, there is only the 51st US state”.

Late last evening, this report details, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated: “If Germany rejects Poland’s idea of transferring Patriot air defence systems to Ukraine, then the government would consider hosting them on Polish territory – as originally suggested by Berlin”—a statement that followed Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warning: “If, as NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg hinted, NATO were to supply the Ukrainian fanatics with Patriot systems along with NATO personnel, they would immediately become a legitimate target of our armed forces”—a warning joined by Deputy Chairman Medvedev declaring: “NATO countries account for not more than 12% of the planet’s population…The civilized world does not need this organization…It should repent before the humanity and dissolve itself on the grounds of being a criminal organization”.

In the just published leftist CNN article “Remarkable Photos Show What Blackout In Ukraine Looks Like From Space”, this report notes, the full scale of the catastrophe the socialist Western colonial powers and their NATO military bloc have wrought on Ukraine is visualized in all of its horror—and is a horror documented in the just published Wall Street Journal article “Ukraine’s Power Shortages Force Millions of Refugees Into Lengthier Exile”, wherein it reveals: “Rolling blackouts in Ukraine have deprived millions across the country of power, heating and running water amid subzero temperature...As it struggles to keep the lights on, Kyiv is now urging Ukrainian refugees to stay where they are for now...There are nearly eight million Ukrainian refugees across Europe, many of whom had hoped to return home in the fall...They now face the prospect of a more permanent exodus, having to look for work and send their children to local schools”.

Ukrainians who have fled to Poland, this report continues, will now have to start paying for their housing and food next year, the government in Warsaw has announced—with Poland itself facing a cost of living crisis, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said the proposed measures are aimed at making sure that “Polish taxpayers pay as little as possible for an expected next wave of refugees”—but left unreported in the socialist Western colonial powers is that fact that Poland is preparing to retake the lands Ukrainian nationalist forces aligned with Nazi Germany stole from it during World War II while massacring hundreds-of-thousands of Polish peoples, and today saw Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Naryshkin revealing: “Polish President Andrzej Duda instructed the specialized services to prepare an official justification for Polish claims to western Ukraine in a short time”.

Also now facing the socialist Western colonial powers, this report notes, Russian energy giant Gazprom announced it will mothball the Nord Stream pipelines that have long supplied cheap natural gas to the European Union—in quick response it saw Chairman Klaus Ernst of the Bundestag Committee On Energy factually stating: “Germany still has no way of completely replacing Russian natural gas”—swiftly following this announcement China massively increased its purchase of Russian natural gas, that more than makes up for the sales lost to the European Union—after China massively increased its supply of Russian natural gas, top energy experts assessed: “It would seem we have reached the point of no return…After being the target of sabotage, the Nord Stream pipelines will be mothballed…The mutually beneficial energy relationship Europe and Russia had for decades has come to an end…The geopolitical implications are enormous…And Europe is the biggest loser”—and in response to a user post that quoted the head of the International Energy Agency saying Russia had lost Europe as its largest energy client “forever”, it saw Russia's Permanent Representative Mikhail Ulyanov to the International Energy Agency in Vienna posting the factual message: “Isn’t it vice versa: Europe has lost Russia as its largest energy supplier to get the opportunity to buy the US LNG at a much higher price?...Great achievement!”.

In what passes for so-called news in the United States, this report concludes, the just published article “Russian Artillery Advantage Diminishing” quotes an unnamed Pentagon official stating: “For a variety of reasons, the ratio of Russian artillery volleys compared to Ukrainian ones is decreasing”—a comical statement widely repeated in the American leftist media, but none of whom bothered to report on the shocking article “Pentagon Fails Another Audit – Over $2 Trillion In Assets Included In Failed Audits”—in the just published American leftist article “Trenches, Mud And Death: One Ukrainian Battlefield Looks Like Something Out Of World War I”, it fails to mention the factual reality that these trenches of mud and death are all Ukrainian, which Russian military forces keep steamrolling over—while denying his troops are encircled, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy just cryptically warned: “Russian forces are planning something in the south of the country”—and in remembrance of all the failed American wars from Vietnam to Afghanistan that cost millions of lives and uncounted trillions of dollars, former top Pentagon advisor and living tactical combat legend retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Ph.D., in his just released open letter “Washington’s Carthaginian Peace Collides With Reality”, professionally examines the present conflict and states:

The Biden administration refuses to tell the American people the truth: Ukraine is not winning and will not win this war.

The national political and military leaders who committed America to wars of choice in Vietnam, the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq, did so as a rule because they were convinced the fighting would be short and decisive. American presidents, presidential advisors, and senior military leaders never stopped to consider that national strategy, if it exists at all, consists of avoiding conflict unless the nation is attacked and compelled to fight.

The latest victim of this mentality is Ukraine.

In the absence of a critical root-and-branch analysis of Russia’s national power and strategic interests, American senior military leaders and their political bosses viewed Russia through a narrowly focused lens that magnified U.S. and Ukrainian strengths but ignored Russia’s strategic advantages—geographic depth, almost limitless natural resources, high social cohesion, and the military-industrial capacity to rapidly scale up its military power.

Ukraine is now a war zone subject to the same treatment the U.S. armed forces inflicted on Germany and Japan during the Second World War, on Vietnam in the 1960s, and on Iraq over decades. Power grids, transportation networks, communications infrastructure, fuel production, and ammunition storage sites are being systematically destroyed. Millions of Ukrainians continue to flee the war zone in pursuit of safety, with ominous consequences for Europe’s societies and economies.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration repeatedly commits the unpardonable sin in a democratic society of refusing to tell the American people the truth: contrary to the Western media’s popular “Ukrainian victory” narrative, which blocks any information that contradicts it, Ukraine is not winning and will not win this war.

Months of heavy Ukrainian casualties, resulting from an endless series of pointless attacks against Russian defenses in Southern Ukraine, have dangerously weakened Ukrainian forces.

Predictably, NATO’s European members, which bear the brunt of the war’s impact on their societies and economies, are growing more disenchanted with Washington’s Ukrainian proxy war.

European populations are openly questioning the veracity of claims in the press about the Russian state and American aims in Europe. The influx of millions of refugees from Ukraine, along with a combination of trade disputes, profiteering from U.S. arms sales, and high energy prices risks turning European public opinion against both Washington’s war and NATO.

Russia has also undergone a transformation.

In the opening years of President Putin’s term of office, the Russian Armed Forces were organized, trained, and equipped for exclusively national territorial defense.  But the conduct of the Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine has demonstrated the inadequacy of this approach for Russia’s National Security in the 21st century.

The opening phase of the SMO was a limited operation with a narrow purpose and restricted goals.  The critical point is that Moscow never intended to do more than persuade Kiev and Washington that Moscow would fight to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO, as well as the further mistreatment of Russians in Ukraine.  The SMO was, however, based on invalid assumptions and was terminated.  As it turned out, the limited nature of the SMO achieved the opposite of the outcome that Moscow desired, conveying the impression of weakness, rather than strength.

After concluding that the underpinning assumptions regarding Washington’s readiness to negotiate and compromise were invalid, Putin directed the STAVKA to develop new operational plans with new goals: first, to crush the Ukrainian enemy; second, to remove any doubt in Washington and European capitols that Russia will establish victory on its own terms; and, third, to create a new territorial status quo commensurate with Russia’s national security needs.

Once the new plan was submitted and approved, President Putin agreed to an economy of force operation to defend Russian territorial gains with minimal forces until the required resources, capabilities, and manpower were assembled for decisive operations. Putin also appointed a new theater commander, General Sergei Surovikin, a senior officer who understands the mission and possesses the mindset to deliver success.

The coming offensive phase of the conflict will provide a glimpse of the new Russian force that is emerging and its future capabilities.

At this writing, 540,000 Russian combat forces are assembled in Southern Ukraine, Western Russia, and Belarus. The numbers continue to grow, but the numbers already include 1,000 rocket artillery systems, thousands of tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, plus 5,000 armored fighting vehicles, including at least 1,500 tanks, hundreds of manned fixed-wing attack aircraft, helicopters, and bombers. This new force has little in common with the Russian army that intervened 9 months ago on February 24, 2022.

It is now possible to project that the new Russian armed forces that will evolve from the crucible of war in Ukraine will be designed to execute strategically decisive operations.  The resulting Russian force will likely take its inspiration from the force design and operational framework recommended in Colonel General Makhmut Gareev’s work, If War Comes Tomorrow? The Contours of Future Armed Conflict.  The new military establishment will consist of much larger forces-in-being that can conduct decisive operations on relatively short notice with minimal reinforcement and preparation.

Put differently, by the time the conflict ends, it appears Washington will have prompted the Russian State to build up its military power, the very opposite of the fatal weakening that Washington intended when it embarked on its course of military confrontation with Moscow.

But none of these developments should surprise anyone in Washington, D.C.  Beginning with Biden’s speech in Warsaw effectively demanding regime change in Moscow, the Biden administration refused to see foreign policy in terms of strategy.

Like a stupid general who insists on defending every inch of ground to the last man, President Biden confirmed the United States’ commitment to oppose Russia and, potentially, any nation state that fails to measure up to globalism’s hypocritical democratic standards, regardless of the cost to the American people, whether in terms of their security or prosperity.

Biden’s speech in Warsaw was hot with emotion and mired in the ideology of moralizing globalism that is popular in Washington, London, Paris, and Berlin.

But for Moscow, the speech was tantamount to a Carthaginian Peace plan.  Biden’s “take no prisoners” conduct of U.S. foreign policy means the outcome of the next phase of the Ukrainian War will not only destroy the Ukrainian state.  It will also demolish the last vestiges of the postwar liberal order and produce a dramatic shift in power and influence across Europe, especially in Berlin, away from Washington to Moscow and, to a limited extent, to Beijing.
