Israel Alarmed As 500,000 Palestinian Children Prepare To Break Gaza Blockade

Russian Military Analysts are reporting to President Medvedev today that Israeli authorities have become “alarmed” over reports that Hamas is preparing to launch a modern day Children’s Crusade of over 500,000 girls and boys who will “march in mass” towards the Israeli border in an attempt to break the 2-year-long Israeli blockade of Gaza that has reduced over 1.5 million Palestinian peoples to a level of misery and despair not seen since the Nazi Jewish ghettos of World War II.

Hamas intelligence sources are further reporting that they “have received word of a pre-planned assassination plot against senior members of the resistance movement” in what these reports state is an Israeli attempt to stop this Children’s Crusade and destroy any attempt at reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah.

The concept of using the tactics of massive non-violence and non-cooperation against a brutal regime, subjugating to slave-like status an entire race of people, was developed by the Indian revolutionary leader Mahatama Gandhi, whose use of these tactics broke the British Empires stranglehold on his Nation.

These tactics were also used to limited success in the United States by their revolutionary leader Martin Luther King against that countries system of apartheid; that is until his assassination in 1968 which plunged the US into a period of bitter race riots that swept the majority of their major cities.

To how critically desperate life has become for the blockaded peoples of Gaza causing them to launch such a drastic crusade we can further read:

“The Red Cross today issued a report on the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, declaring that it had left the tiny enclave’s 1.5 million residents in despair, and that import procedures were keeping even basic medical items like painkillers and X-ray film developers from entering the strip.

The strip has been blockaded for years, and the massive damage caused by the Israeli air campaign against the strip and the subsequent military invasion in January have left the most heavily hit regions looking “like the epicenter of a massive earthquake,” according to the report. The Israeli government has refused to allow cement or other building materials in to repair the damage.

The United Nations has also been investigating reports of war crimes in the Israeli invasion, and today child psychologist Dr. Iyad Sarraj reported that about 20 percent of Gaza’s children suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome as a result of the violence they witnessed during the onslaught.”

Most interesting to note about the horrific Israeli blockade against the peoples in Gaza that Former US President Jimmy Carter has called a “crime and an atrocity”, is the American peoples total ambivalence to the suffering and pain of so many human beings. Then again, the United States was, likewise, ambivalent to the murder of millions of Jewish peoples during World War II as it struggled to maintain its neutrality, but as pointed out by one astute American observer, “Since when did we need an invitation to save millions of innocent people's lives.”

To what the Israeli actions will be in order to stop this Children’s Crusade these reports do not speculate upon, however, a “clue” can be seen of what is going to await them in the chilling actions of Israeli soldiers after their brutal smashing of Gaza during their Operation Cast Lead offensive, and as we can read:

“Dead babies, mothers weeping on their children's graves, a gun aimed at a child and bombed-out mosques – these are a few examples of the images Israel Defense Forces soldiers design these days to print on shirts they order to mark the end of training, or of field duty. The slogans accompanying the drawings are not exactly anemic either: A T-shirt for infantry snipers bears the inscription "Better use Durex," next to a picture of a dead Palestinian baby, with his weeping mother and a teddy bear beside him. A sharpshooter's T-shirt from the Givati Brigade's Shaked battalion shows a pregnant Palestinian woman with a bull's-eye superimposed on her belly, with the slogan, in English, "1 shot, 2 kills." A "graduation" shirt for those who have completed another snipers course depicts a Palestinian baby, who grows into a combative boy and then an armed adult, with the inscription, "No matter how it begins, we'll put an end to it."

There are also plenty of shirts with blatant sexual messages. For example, the Lavi battalion produced a shirt featuring a drawing of a soldier next to a young woman with bruises, and the slogan, "Bet you got raped!" A few of the images underscore actions whose existence the army officially denies – such as "confirming the kill" (shooting a bullet into an enemy victim's head from close range, to ensure he is dead), or harming religious sites, or female or child non-combatants.”

To the United States, Israel’s most powerful ally, ability to reign in the rouge Jewish state it does not appear likely, as after the Americans demanded that the Israelis halt construction of a planned housing project in east Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected them and stated “Israel rule over Jerusalem not up for discussion”.

But, to how truly bizarre, and dangerous, Israel’s Military Forces have become we need only read this shocking report from the Israelis Haaretz News Service that their officers are now warning their soldiers that the Pope and the Vatican are behind a sinister plot to exterminate the Jewish race, and as we can read:

“The Pope and the cardinals of the Vatican help organize tours of Auschwitz for Hezbollah members to teach them how to wipe out Jews, according to a booklet being distributed to Israel Defense Forces soldiers.

Officials encouraging the booklet's distribution include senior officers, such as Lt. Col. Tamir Shalom, the commander of the Nahshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade. The booklet was published by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, in cooperation with the chief rabbi of Safed, Rabbi Shmuel Eliahu, and has been distributed for the past few months.

The booklet, titled "On Either Side of the Border," purports to be the testimony of "a Hezbollah officer who spied for Israel.”

Such is the state of our World today, that in spite of all of our technological wonders and achievements, a few madmen can, indeed, plunge us all into the abyss of chaos and insanity.
