An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned: “Those countries that reassure themselves with the idea that 'let’s deploy nuclear weapons near Russia's borders' are deeply mistaken...NATO will not bring them any security here...On the contrary, this will be a tool that will further lead to escalation and an increase in tension”, says this warning followed NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte declaring: “In the future, Europeans will be able to take care of their backyard themselves...It should be us doing this, not the Americans”.
