Meets American “Weapons In Space” Shock

A foreboding new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Donald Trump announced yesterday morning: “Ukraine has agreed not to hit Russian Energy targets...Russia has agreed to do, likewise!...The World’s Diesel price rise is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran”, says this announcement was followed by the news: “Ukrainian forces targeted the Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast overnight on 15 September”, after which it was revealed: “Russian forces attacked Kyiv on the morning of 15 September...Kyiv City Military Administration reported at 8:39 a.m. local time that a Russian drone had crashed at a petrol station in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital...Another gas station in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district was hit at around 6 a.m. local time”
A few minutes after President Trump posted his announcement that he knew wasn’t true yesterday, this report notes, it was shockingly revealed: “Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink made a bombshell admission this morning, disclosing that there are on-orbit weapons deployed right now to protect America’s interests in space”—and was a shocking revelation because it destroyed the Outer Space Treaty, which came into force in 1967 and prohibits the United States and other signatories from placing nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction in orbit.
Following the American bombshell admission that it is deploying weapons in orbit, this report continues, the United States Space Force spokesperson declared to the world: “It is longstanding policy that the U.S. will protect and defend the Joint Force through all domains...Space control encapsulates the mission areas required to contest and control the space domain – employing kinetic and non-kinetic means to affect adversary capabilities through disruption, degradation and even destruction, if necessary...These capabilities can be employed for offensive and defensive purposes at the direction of combatant commands”.
In preparation to counter American weapons in orbit, this report details, Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, on 17 December 2025, announced that the first regiment equipped with the S-500 Prometey system had entered combat duty, marking a major milestone in Russia’s strategic missile defense capabilities, and about which is publicly known:
The S-500 Prometey (literally ‘Prometheus’ –
as in the ancient Greek god of fire) is a road-mobile air and missile defense system created by
Almaz-Antey – Russia’s premier developer and
manufacturer of missile-based anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense weapons.
The system has a range of
up to 600 km, and the ability to detect targets at up to 800 km away.
The S-500 can
simultaneously target up to 10 ballistic supersonic targets flying at speeds up
to 7 km/s.
It can also attack targets
flying at hypersonic speeds (up to Mach 10, or 12,348 km per hour).
The S-500’s range is sufficient to disable enemy
missiles, spacecraft, and orbital weapons platforms in space at low-Earth
orbits.
The system’s interceptor
missiles maneuver in flight, and feature independent onboard radar components
enabling them to engage in kinetic attacks.
The S-500 can be
incorporated into a single air and missile defense network alongside the S-400,
S-300VM4, S-350 Vityaz and other systems.
While watching the Russian “God of Fire” space defense system preparing to meet American weapons in orbit, this report concludes, it caused Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun to exclaim: “We urge the US side to stop expanding its military capabilities and preparing for war in outer space”—and Executive Director Daryl Kimball of the Arms Control Association warned: “Announcing that the United States has a space weapon in Earth's orbit could fuel a dangerous arms race that could set off a cycle of action and counteraction, threatening the satellites and other orbital systems that countries worldwide rely on for communications, navigation and other essential services”.
