An insightful new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin revealed after his over 3 hour meeting with President Donald Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner: “The conversation was substantive, constructive, extremely candid and trusting”, says top Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov described the talks as “timely and very useful for both sides”, adding that Putin and Trump would continue personal contacts and that the diplomatic channel involving Witkoff and Kushner would remain active.
With Witkoff and Kushner now traveling to Ukraine, this report notes, President Putin ordered a three day halt to air strikes on Kiev to insure their safety—an order not affecting other Ukrainian areas, as the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced: “The Russian military has conducted large-scale drone and missile strikes on Ukraine, targeting assorted dual-use infrastructure sites, industry, and shipping in the Black Sea”—and world-renowned retired CIA senior analyst Larry Johnson also revealed today:
