A beyond alarming new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin proclaimed to the members of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI): “We are fighting for Russia’s present and future”, says Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also declared: “We have repeatedly warned that the response to Ukrainian strikes using British weapons against Russian territory could be directed against any British military facilities and equipment in Ukraine and beyond”, and the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced: “The Russian military has conducted a successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile...The test warhead, which was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodetome in Arkhangelsk Region, followed a trajectory which took it across the county to Kura training range in Kamachatka Peninsula in the Far East...All of the assigned tasks were accomplished in full”.

development; Naryshkin calls them part of the job; and Trump points to the good

carried any special message.
The only clue comes from
biographical context: Ratcliffe has previously helped arrange prisoner
exchanges, while the CIA and SVR maintain a direct line of communication. The visit is therefore presented more as part
of a closed working dialogue between intelligence services than as public
diplomacy.
Swiftly after CIA Director Radcliffe left Moscow, this report continues, Ukraine Nazi Regime unelected supreme leader Dictator Vladimir Zelensky told reporters: “Today we received information from the American side about the meetings in Moscow that took place these past days...There were a number of meetings there...We value the coordination of steps and the fact that America is advancing a quite realistic vision of what needs to be done and what must be done...Russia must end its war, and all conditions must be created for that to happen”, then he declared: “The main priority is to strengthen our defense against jet-powered drones and to step up the frequency of our deep strikes against Russia...The task is a thousand drones for long-range strikes against Russia every day”.
In response to the drone threat issued by Dictator Zelensky, this report details, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev factually stated: “Russia has fine-tuned its drones to be the best in the world amid the military conflict with Ukraine...Let me tell you, as a person who deals with this almost on a daily basis, I can say that we are certainly at the top...And it is because of the dramatic developments taking place in our country amid the military conflict”—top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov then revealed: “The negotiation process on Ukraine is on hold, and there are no new proposals”—a revelation joined with the news: “The US State Department has updated its travel advisory for Ukraine, urging American citizens to refrain from visiting the country due to the ongoing war and the threat of Russian attacks...According to the August 28 update published by the State Department’s press service, the US has maintained the highest risk designation for Ukraine, Level 4: “Do Not Travel””.
Following Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov factually proclaiming: “Deception is the basis of Western diplomacy...And it remains so”, this report notes, the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) group of former officers of the United States Intelligence Community released the warning document:

Two NY
Times journalists who specialize in intelligence matters report Thursday that
this latest version of the Russia-has-already-lost story is “the current C.I.A.
director’s assessment”. They warn somewhat quizzically
that, despite this, President Putin might ignore it “and choose to keep
fighting”. But why would Putin do that?
Indeed, the Gray Lady and
her intelligence sources seem quite baffled by why Putin would keep trying
when, according to
Dismissing that as a
possibility, they perform a somersault, straighten up, and chose to blame
Putin’s advisers who, the Times says, have not “given
Putin honest assessments of the war’s trajectory and toll”.
If Black Humor is at work
here, we do not find it funny. The
slaughter in
Russia is methodically advancing in Donbass along
a thousand-mile front, it is weathering drone attacks on its oil and civilian
infrastructure with enhanced interception and has enforced a virtual blockade
on Ukraine’s largest port, Odessa, with withering aerial attacks. Ukraine’s manpower and interceptor shortages
make it impossible for it to ever recover its lost territory, as you
acknowledged after your meeting with President Putin in
Mr. President, if you were
given access to reality-based, honest intelligence, you would be able to decide
for yourself whose advisers have gotten it right over these past five years.
And, once apprised of the reality on ground (and in the air), you might choose
to do what is in your power to end the disaster in
Déjà Vu
This is not the first time
we advised a president to seek unbiased advice with a view toward avoiding
unnecessary, catastrophic war. We did
that just a few hours after Colin Powell’s deceptive presentation to the U.N.
Security Council on February 5, 2003.
Today, we strongly suggest
that you broaden your circle of advisers, as we urged President George W. Bush
to do then, in our first VIPS Memorandum, which ended with this recommendation:
“After watching Secretary Powell today, we are convinced that
you would be well served if you widened the discussion beyond the circle of
those advisers clearly bent on a war for which we see no compelling reason and
from which we believe the unintended consequences are likely to be catastrophic”.
As the world waits to see if President Donald Trump will listen to his own intelligence professionals to avoid an unnecessary and catastrophic war with Russia, this report concludes, the New York Times just released its warning article “Has World War III Already Started?” and it was grimly revealed: “Five U.S. Navy E-6B Mercury “Doomsday Planes” were tracked airborne over parts of the central and western United States this week”.
