A thought-provoking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warningly declared: “We will adopt much harsher methods to destroy everything that enables the West to fuel Kiev’s war machine...We are already doing this, and they are already moaning”, says this warning declaration was swiftly followed by the news: “A powerful explosion ripped through a NATO weapons factory in Italy owned by Franco-German defense group KNDS, a major arms supplier to the Ukrainian military”.
Along with the Ukrainian state media reveling today: “Kyiv privately told the Trump administration that Russia may be unable to capture the remaining Ukrainian-controlled parts of Donetsk Oblast even in 2027”, this report notes, retired British Navy leader Commodore Steve Jermy factually assessed: “Russia’s military operations have been guided by a winning military strategy; whereas NATO’s military operations have been guided by a losing political narrative...Based on their narrative statements, NATO, the EU and Kyiv seem determined to prolong the war...With seemingly little if any concern about the human costs to Ukrainians, the economic costs to Europe’s nation states, or the societal costs to Europe’s tax paying populations who are now expected to pay everything...In truth, NATO and the EU have become, with Zelensky, the primary obstacles to ceasefire negotiations”.
