A compelling new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting Iran released rare footage of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, says this followed its bordering neighbors Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signing the historic “Mecca Joint Defense Agreement” to combine their military forces, immediately after which Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif declared: “Israel is a threat to the entire Muslim world...In the context of Israel, all Muslim countries must unite...I have no doubt about this...Israel is a product of the Balfour Declaration, which was established in the 1940s as an illegitimate state, and it could pose a direct threat to any of the countries in the region”.
At the same time the entire Muslim world is uniting against Israel, this report notes, top Iranian negotiator Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf posted the message to President Donald Trump: “Massive attack coming… wait, never mind, they want to negotiate...That’s theater diplomacy on loop...Using bullying + broken promises + fake news as leverage is a failed strategy...Acknowledge the facts and fulfill your commitments...We don’t need more theater”—and was a message joined with the news: “Iran has effectively rejected expectations of an imminent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, laying out sweeping conditions that would require the United States to fundamentally change its policy toward Tehran...The six demands include an end to U.S. threats and military action, a permanent end to the war, withdrawal of U.S. naval and air forces from around Iran, compensation for war damages, sanctions relief and the release of frozen Iranian assets”.
Along with the news: “United States Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan Caine has been urging the White House for several weeks to find a way to end the conflict with Iran”, this report continues, it was also revealed: “Families of the sailors and Marines aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln are sounding the alarm that their loved ones are so exhausted they fear it could lead to deadly mistakes, as the carrier enters its ninth month at sea and its fifth consecutive month of combat operations against Iran”—and world-renowned retired CIA senior analyst Larry Johnson warned today: “Iran is holding firm to its demands...I remain skeptical that Donald Trump will agree to these terms...In fact, Trump reportedly has decided to launch a new campaign of bombing and missile strikes, despite warnings from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff that US missile inventories are running dangerously low...Folks at CENTCOM who thought they would have a long weekend reportedly have been called back to work to finish planning the new round of strikes”.
While President Trump ignores the desperate pleas of his top military commander and the families of the forces under his command to end the Iran war, this report concludes, Russia and China are forging ahead on the “Polar Silk Road” that will bypass the war ravaged Middle East entirely, as was revealed: “Russia’s state nuclear giant Rosatom, operator of the Northern Sea Route via the Arctic, said on Friday it had issued permits for seven Chinese transit vessels to sail to Europe via the NSR”—and is a Northern Sea Route through the Arctic whose ships are protected by Russia’s largest in the world icebreaker fleet.
