Trump Warns “THE STORM IS COMING” As “Demand
Destruction” Global Catastrophe Nears

An alarming new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin held a 90-minute phone call with President Donald Trump yesterday, during which the two discussed issues including the Ukraine conflict and the crisis in the Persian Gulf, says top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov then revealed: “Of course, one telephone conversation can hardly improve the situation in the world, because, unfortunately, the concentration of conflicts is so great and the consequences of a number of conflicts for the international situation and the international economy as a whole are so serious that, of course, it is very difficult to stop these trends at one moment”—and was a phone call followed by President Trump posting the dire warning: “THE STORM IS COMING...NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING”.
Right before President Trump posted his dire warning, this report notes, Axios revealed: “President Trump is slated to receive a briefing on new plans for potential military action in Iran on Thursday from CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper...CENTCOM has prepared a plan for a "short and powerful" wave of strikes on Iran — likely including infrastructure targets — in hopes of breaking the negotiating deadlock...Another plan expected to be shared with Trump is focused on taking over part of the Strait of Hormuz to reopen it to commercial shipping...Such an operation could include ground forces”.
In quick response to the dire warning posted by President Trump, this report continues, oil spiked to its highest price since 2022 at over $126 a barrel, and it was observed: “The United States military deployed a third aircraft carrier strike group with thousands of elite troops near Iran on April 24, marking the largest buildup since the invasion of Iraq in 2003”..
Also in response to the dire warning posted by President Trump, this report details, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei senior advisor General Mohsen Rezaei warned: “Fresh aggression towards Iran will be catastrophic for the United States...History will record that the Iranian nation sank the American superpower in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman”—Iranian Ambassador Mojtaba Ferdowsi-Pou proclaimed: “The United States has lost on the battlefield, both from the point of view of the global economy and in the energy sector, and in terms of currency, since settlements in dollars are shrinking...They have been defeated but are trying to win at the negotiating table through diplomacy”—and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared: “Our enemies should know that the Persian Gulf is not an arena for imposing unilateral foreign wills, but rather is a part of the system of international interactions and its security only makes sense in light of collective cooperation and mutual respect for the sovereignty of its coastal countries...Any attempt to impose naval restrictions and blockade contravenes international regulations and poses a threat to the interests of regional nations and global peace and stability and is doomed to fail”.
As for the catastrophic global consequence of President Trump waging his war on Iran, this report notes, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak warned: “The oil industry continues to experience a profound crisis caused by a supply shortage...A huge amount of oil is not entering the market today...Demand significantly exceeds supply...Of course, we see an imbalance due to serious logistical difficulties and the situation in the Middle East”—and is an oil supply shortage imbalance warning whose only correction is “demand destruction”, which is the economic tool used to make oil unaffordable by skyrocketing its price to the point where people can no longer afford to drive, airlines make massive cuts in flights, and businesses grind to standstill—which causes oil demand to plummet.
As to how near the “demand destruction” global catastrophe is, this report concludes, the Dutch multinational banking and financial services giant ING Group issued the global alert today: “The oil market has moved from over-optimism to the reality of the supply disruption we are seeing in the Persian Gulf...The breakdown of talks between the US and Iran, along with President Trump reportedly rejecting Iran’s proposal for a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, has the market losing hope for any quick resumption in oil flows...While we estimate demand destruction in the region of 1.6m b/d, which is significant, it’s clearly not enough to fill the supply gap we are currently facing...The longer this disruption persists, the less the market can rely on inventory, and the greater the need for further demand destruction...The only way to drive this would be through higher oil prices”.
