A forewarning new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin condemned the United States blockade of Cuba and declared: “We have always supported Cuba in its fight for independence and for the right to develop in accordance with its own path...We have always supported the Cuban people”, says this declaration was followed by the news yesterday: “Russia has dispatched two tankers carrying oil and gas to Cuba as the island grapples with a deepening energy crisis exacerbated by a U.S. oil blockade...The Hong Kong-flagged tanker Sea Horse, which is believed to be loaded with around 27,000 tons of gas, is expected to arrive in Cuba in the coming days...A second vessel, the Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin, is carrying between 725,000 and 728,000 barrels of oil and is due to reach Cuba in early April”.
As Russia moves to break the American blockade of Cuba in a replay of the Cuban Missile Crisis that brought to the world to brink of a nuclear war holocaust in 1962, this report notes, yesterday it saw President Donald Trump claiming he didn’t know Israel was going to attack the largest gas field in the world jointly owned by Iran and Qatar—President Trump then threatened to blow up the entire gas field if Iran retaliated—a threat Iran ignored as it began striking enemy energy targets pushing the price of oil near $120 a barrel—and history gravely documents that the Western economic collapse of 2008 was triggered when the price of oil hit $150 a barrel.
Along with top President Putin envoy Kirill Dmitriev describing these exchange of strikes on gas infrastructure as a “tipping point” in the escalating conflict, this report continues, top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia has paused all talks with the United States and warningly observed: “We are now witnessing this extreme destabilization throughout the region...The geography of military operations is expanding...We are also seeing the destabilization of global energy markets...These are the consequences that the entire world is now feeling, including the Russian Federation”.
Following Iran launching its “63rd wave” of strikes against American and Israeli targets today, this report details, it was revealed: “Israeli carrier Israir canceled its regular scheduled flights planned through the end of March, citing wartime airspace restrictions and limited operations at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport”—a revelation joined by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei proclaiming to the American peoples: “Disavowing this illegal war is the bare minimum any American citizen and official of clear conscience can and should do”.
Most certainly disavowing the illegal war on Iran, this report notes, are the American sailors aboard the USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier launching strikes on Iran, who have mutinied by clogging all of the toilets and are being investigated for arson following a fire that crippled this massive warship—and this aircraft carrier has now been forced out of the Iran war as documented in articles like “Fire Damage, Clogged Toilets, And Sinking Morale: USS Gerald R Ford To Set Sail For Repairs In Crete”.
Also disavowing the illegal war on Iran, this report continues, was the third highest American intelligence official Director Joe Kent of the United States National Counterterrorism Center, whose resignation letter viewed by over 97 million Americans declared: “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran...Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby”.
Joining the Financial Times revealing: “Iran is getting ready for a protracted war of attrition as it wants assurances that the United States and Israel will not resume attacks in the future”, this report concludes, was the news: “The Pentagon has asked the White House to approve a funding request exceeding $200 billion to support the war in Iran...The war’s cost has already exceeded $11 billion in its first week alone, with officials warning that further funding could trigger a major political battle amid limited public support”—and The Intercept grimly warned: “The financial cost of the Iran war to American taxpayers is being understated by officials and could balloon into the trillions of dollars over the long term”.
