A thought-provoking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting the warning issued by President Putin to cut off all energy supplies to the West fueled calls in the European Union to drop sanctions against Russia, says these calls came as Iraq and Cuba were hit by blackouts amid United States pressure and attacks on Iran, all which was joined with the grim news:”The escalating military conflict in the Middle East has had a significant impact on international energy markets, driving up crude oil and natural gas prices amid fears of global supply disruptions”.
