A thought-provoking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Donald Trump revealed yesterday: “I personally asked President Putin not to fire into Kyiv and various towns for a week, and he agreed to do that...It was very nice...A lot of people said, don’t waste the call, you’re not going to get that...And he did it”, says this revelation was followed by top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announcing: “Russia has agreed to partially suspend long-range strikes on Ukrainian targets at the request of President Donald Trump...The weeklong moratorium is to last until 1 February and is meant to create favorable conditions for negotiations”.
Causing President Trump to ask President Putin for a temporary halt to strikes, this report notes, was the news: “Ukraine's state weather agency on Thursday forecast a drastic dip in temperatures to as low as minus 30C in coming days, as authorities race to restore heating and electricity services”—it was also documented: “January is drawing to a close as the snowiest month in Moscow in the last 203 years”—and revealed: “A photograph of President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin has been hung at the White House, according to PBS correspondent Elizabeth Landers...Landers said the image can be seen in the recently renovated Palm Room, a waiting area linking the West Wing to the executive residence, positioned above a family photo of Trump with his granddaughter”.
After President Putin agreed to temporarily halt strikes due to Ukrainian weather, this report continues, President Trump confirmed talks with Iran, as he reportedly mulls raids by American troops on Iranian facilities, and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said at a press conference today that Iran is ready to resume nuclear talks with the United States but stressed the Trump administration needs to stop threatening an attack against Iran.
In rapidly shifting his focus from the world to his own Western Hemisphere sphere of influence, this report details, President Trump issued the war document “ADDRESSING THREATS TO THE UNITED STATES BY THE GOVERNMENT OF CUBA” yesterday, wherein he proclaimed: “I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the situation with respect to Cuba constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat, which has its source in whole or substantial part outside the United States, to the national security and foreign policy of the United States and hereby declare a national emergency with respect to that threat”.
Joining the President Trump war declaration against Cuba yesterday, this report notes, it was stunningly revealed: “Leaders of a Canadian group seeking the secession of the oil-rich province of Alberta have met members of the administration of President Donald Trump at least three times since last April”—a stunning revelation causing Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to quickly declare: “We expect the U.S. administration to respect Canadian sovereignty...I’m always clear in my conversation with President Trump to that effect, and then move on to what we can do together”--and was a declaration swiftly followed by the news: “President Trump on Thursday announced that he plans to impose on Canada 50% tariffs on any and all Aircraft sold into the United States of America and to decertify all aircraft made in Canada”.
While President Trump moves against Cuba and Canada to secure his Western Hemisphere sphere of influence, this report continues, it was revealed today: “Another massive defeat for China's interests in the Western Hemisphere, and another win for Trump's Donroe Doctrine...The Supreme Court of Panama has just issued a final decision to void the contract renewal for Hong Kong's CK Hutchison's subsidiary to operate two Panama Canal ports, in a much anticipated landmark case driven by claims of unconstitutionality and financial irregularities”.
Over the past month, this report concludes, President Trump issued the historic documents “National Security Strategy of the United States of America” and “2026 National Defense Strategy: Restoring Peace Through Strength For A New Golden Age Of America” to exactly lay out the master plan to achieve total dominance over the Western Hemisphere sphere of influence, and about which Russian foreign policy expert and historian Alexander Bobrov most factually assessed:
True to form, Donald Trump has kicked off 2026 by
significantly amplifying points of tension in global politics.
We must note that despite
the apparent illogic of Trump’s statements, all his actions align with the logic
laid out by his team in the revised National Security Strategy released in
December.
If we were to reduce this
document to a few key points, the current US administration aims to reshape
global governance institutions through aggressive rhetoric bordering on brute
force, secure the Western Hemisphere as a zone of exclusive American interests,
contain China, and shift the burden of responsibility for the strategic
landscape in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa onto junior allies.
Remarkably, everything that
has unfolded in 2026 aligns perfectly with what can already be called the Trump
Doctrine.
