Trump Strikes Down 1927 Gun Mailing Law As “Death Master File” Law Hits His Desk

An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, amid mass protests that have gripped the Islamic Republic in recent weeks, says this phone call was followed by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declaring: “The American president is responsible for casualties, damages, and false accusations directed against the Iranian nation...In the recent sedition, the distinctive feature was that the President of the United States himself intervened, made statements, encouraged the rioters, and even spoke of providing military support...This clearly showed that the recent unrest was an American-instigated sedition...The Americans planned it, and based on 50 years of experience, I state decisively and explicitly that America’s goal is to devour Iran”.
When asked by reporters yesterday why he hasn’t attacked Iran yet to aid its protesters, this report notes, President Donald Trump revealed: “Nobody convinced me...I convinced myself”—a revelation joined by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff declaring: “The United States prefers a diplomatic solution to ongoing tensions with Iran rather than military action”—but was a declaration countered by Fox News reporting: ”The US has deployed at least one aircraft carrier to the Middle East...It comes on the heels of thinly-veiled threats against Iran in recent days by President Donald Trump”.
Left ignored by socialist brainwashed American peoples, this report continues, is how the United States would respond if Iran intervened, made statements, encouraged American rioters, and even spoke of providing them military support—are American rioters engaged in deadly protests against President Trump immigration enforcement, and it was just revealed: “A federal judge on Friday issued a Temporary Restraining Order and blocked ICE from arresting so-called peaceful protestors...US District Judge Katherine Menendez, a Biden appointee, also blocked ICE agents from deploying non-lethal munitions and crowd dispersal tools against protesters”—all of which was joined with the news: “The US Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey...A federal grand jury has issued subpoenas for them as part of the probe...They and other officials have allegedly conspired to impede federal immigration agents deployed to the state as part of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration”.
With leftists having long warned since President Trump first came to power in 2016: “America is on a brink like none since the Civil War”, this report details, the Firearm Industry Trade Association (NSSF) just revealed: “Americans collectively own more than 500 million firearms, a staggering figure that underscores just how deeply embedded gun ownership remains in the national fabric—despite years of political pressure, media panic, and legislative headwinds aimed at shrinking it”.
To repair the “national fabric” of American gun rights torn asunder by socialists for nearly 100 years, this report notes, the Office of Legal Counsel of the United States Department of Justice issued the legally binding opinion “Constitutionality of 18 U.S.C. § 1715” this week, wherein it ruled and ordered:
In 1927, Congress declared
pistols, revolvers, and other firearms capable of being concealed on the
person’ to be nonmailable. With some exceptions not
relevant here, those who deposit any such firearm in, or cause any such firearm
to be delivered by, the mail face criminal sanction.
We conclude that the restriction imposed by
section 1715 violates the Second Amendment.
Section 1715 makes it
difficult to travel with arms for lawful purposes, including self-defense,
target shooting, and hunting. The
statute also imposes significant barriers to shipping constitutionally
protected firearms as articles of commerce, which interferes with citizens’
incidental rights to acquire and maintain arms.
Indeed, the statute ultimately aims to suppress
traffic in constitutionally protected articles thus rendering the law per se
unconstitutional as to those articles.
The 1927 ban cannot survive
the historicity test set forth by Bruen (2022): “…We
are aware of no historical analogues that would satisfy the government’s burden
of showing that this unprecedented restriction ‘is consistent with the Nation’s
historical tradition of firearm regulation.'”
Accordingly, the Executive Branch may not,
consistent with the Constitution, enforce section 1715 with respect to
constitutionally protected firearms, and the Postal Service should modify its
regulations to conform with the scope of the Second Amendment as described in
this opinion.
While striking down the old 1927 law which criminalized Americans mailing guns, this report concludes, the new law “Ending Improper Payments to Deceased People Act” landed on the desk of President Trump after it was passed by Congress yesterday—is a law that orders all United States government departments and agencies be given immediate access to the Death Master File, that contains the names of all dead Americans and beyond all belief was never allowed to be seen by agencies like Social Security, which kept paying out billions-of-dollars to dead people.
