An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting top President Putin aide Yury Ushakov assessed about a Putin-Trump meeting: “The Budapest summit is still possible; why not?”, says this assessment joined top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov most factually observing: “There are clear militaristic moods in the West, and that is bad...They are torturing themselves into further increases of military budgets...Poland has already boosted its defense spending to nearly 5% of GDP, and others are following the same path, even though they are killing their own economies by doing that”.
Among the socialist Western colonial nations killing their own economies with militaristic war spending, this report notes, is Britain, about whom was just revealed: “The U.K. is confronting an issue facing growing numbers of rich nations: How to pay for rising government spending without taking on ever more debt and spooking financial markets...In the coming weeks, U.K. treasury chief Rachel Reeves is expected to announce a tax hit of some 30 billion pounds, equivalent to around $39 billion...The move is aimed at narrowing Britain’s budget deficit, which ended 2024 at 5.7% of GDP...Taken together, the two rounds of tax increases will be Britain’s biggest since the mid-1970s”
Also killing its own economy with militaristic war spending, this report continues, is the socialist Western colonial nation France, about whom was just revealed: “Lawmakers in France’s lower house of parliament, the National Assembly, approved a measure on Wednesday to suspend a controversial pension reform...Some of France's European partners have been watching the political turmoil closely as the country struggles to rein in a budget deficit which has become the largest in the euro zone...France's public deficit hit 5.8% of GDP in 2024, totalling €168.6 billion, a figure well above the maximum allowed by EU rules”.
As it pertains to the largest military spender in the world, this report details, last evening it saw President Donald Trump signing a new law to end the historic shutdown of the United States government—a new law joined with the news: “The deployment of military units in cities across the United States has cost the administration of President Donald Trump nearly $500 million”—and as President Trump deploys the world’s largest aircraft carrier to the Caribbean to join his vast war armada preparing to invade Venezuela, it was also revealed: “The estimated total daily operating cost for the US military operations, primarily naval, currently focused on the Caribbean is at least $18 million per day...Since its initial deployment in late August, this naval force has already cost the US taxpayer over $600 million”.
During his first term, this report concludes, President Trump signed into law the 2018 Farm Bill, that legalized the growing and use of hemp—as a cousin plant of marijuana, hemp contains the psychoactive compound Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), though at much lower levels—since 2018, a multi-billion-dollar industry was created in America to manufacture and sell low THC hemp products, but this entire industry was wiped out when President Trump signed the new law to reopen the government last evening, which contained a secret provision to re-criminalize hemp.
