A compelling new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting top Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declared about the Western ultimatum for Russia to agree to a 30 day ceasefire by yesterday at Midnight: “The language of ultimatums is unacceptable for Russia...You cannot speak to Russia in such a language”, says Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Grushko then observed about these deluded into magical thinking Western warmongers: “These countries continue aiming to drag out the conflict...Stripping away the diplomatic language that cloaks their political actions, their primary objectives are Russia’s defeat on the battlefield, its international isolation, economic strangulation, and regime change...All of these efforts have ended in a complete fiasco”.
While rejecting the delusional Western ultimatum, this report notes, President Putin did offer to hold unconditional talks with Ukraine on 15 May in Istanbul, about which top Kremlin spokesperson Peskov revealed today: “The Russian side continues to prepare for the negotiations that are scheduled to take place on Thursday...We will announce the lineup of the Russian delegation for the potential negotiations as soon as President Putin deems it necessary”—a revelation that followed President Donald Trump telling reporters yesterday: “I think you may have a good result at the Thursday meeting in Türkiye between Russia and Ukraine...I believe the two leaders are going to be there...I was thinking about flying over...I don’t know where I’m going to be on Thursday, I’ve got so many meetings, but I was thinking about actually flying over there”.
As President Trump contemplates traveling to Istanbul on 15 May, this report continues, top Ukrainian Dictator Vladimir Zelensky advisor Mykhailo Podolyak proclaimed: “President Zelensky will not meet any other Russian official apart from Russian President Vladimir Putin in Istanbul this week”—a proclamation not addressing the absurdity of why President Putin would travel to a NATO nation like Türkiye whose military bloc is waging war on Russia using its corrupt puppet state Ukraine—and Special Envoy Steve Witcoff warned yesterday: “The president has issued an ultimatum to both sides that without those direct talks and if they don’t occur quickly, then he believes the United States ought to step back from this conflict whatever that means and just not be involved...This is something that we want to mediate...It’s not our war...We didn’t start the war, but we want to help to end it”.
In the war President Trump didn’t start, this report details, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) revealed that Russian military forces killed over 1,400 Ukrainian servicemen over the past day and announced: “Russian troops liberated the community of Kotlyarovka in the Donetsk region over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine”.
The main instigator of the war President Trump didn’t start and is vexed in trying to stop, this report concludes, was demented and deranged former President Joe Biden, about whom it was not surprisingly revealed today: “Joe Biden's physical deterioration was so severe in 2023 and 2024 that advisers privately discussed the possibility he'd need to use a wheelchair if he won re-election...The discussions reflected the extent of the president's declining health — particularly the significant degeneration of his spine — and his aides' alarm over it as Biden sought a second term at age 81...The conversations also reveal the White House's determination to conceal the reality of Biden's condition, at the risk of his own health, while he faced a tough re-election bid against Donald Trump”.
