Bidding War For 9/11 “Merchant Of Death” Reaches $20 Billion

In a move Vladimir Kozin, deputy director of Russia's Foreign Ministry said “may
inevitably affect Russian-US relations to the detriment of the US effort to
'reset' them” both the United States and Russia have entered into a
massive ‘bidding war’ for the man
known as the “Merchant of Death” and
who is called by many intelligence services as “the most dangerous man in the World.”
The man behind the firestorm that is threatening to permanently alter relations between the United States and Russia is a former Soviet Army linguist named Viktor Bout [photo 2nd left] who currently calls a Bangkok, Thailand prison home after his arrest on March 6, 2008 on a US warrant calling for his extradition to America for, among other charges, being the “one of the world's most prolific arms traffickers”.

The pressure by the Americans on Thailand to hand over Bout increased in 2009 after Members of the US Congress signed a letter to US Attorney General Holder and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressing their wish that the Bout extradition “remain a top priority”.
Russia’s reaction to the Bangkok court decision was immediate with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov calling it “unlawful and politically motivated” as the lower court had already ruled the US did not prove its charges against Bout and suggesting that it was made to appease Washington.
Deputy Director Kozin in writing about Bout in a Moscow Times editorial this week further stated:
The critical situation surrounding Bout has caused Thailand to surround him with 50 heavily armed commandos who will accompany him to a private plane the Americans have standing by in Bangkok to fly him to the United States should they gain custody of him, a move, however, made less likely yesterday by the US filing new charges against him.
Fearing that Bout would be released after his attorney filed a “last minute” appeal to Thailand’s Prime Minister, the US filed new money-laundering and wire-fraud charges against him in a move said to have “backfired” because, should Bout lose his appeal, he cannot be released until the new charges are heard.
Kremlin sources, however, are stating that the Americans move was “deliberately made” in order to gain more time in what has become a “bidding war” for Bout that has Russia offering Thailand cut-rate oil prices and the United States offering military hardware to gain control of him, the total said to be at least $20 Billion, and rising with each passing day.
To what has made Bout (said to have inspired the Hollywood film “Lord of War” starring Nicolas Cage) “the most expensive man in the world” one can read many books about him, including “The Most Dangerous Man In The World” linking him to one of the world's most reviled terrorists, Dawood Ibrahim, and “Merchant Of Death” that describes him as one of the world’s top arms dealers.
The truth about Bout though is much more complicated as Kremlin reports about him firmly show his high-ranking status as one of Russia’s most important KGB, and now FSB, intelligence agents, who since the collapse of the Soviet Union was tasked by his superior, and now Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin to infiltrate the United States Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) vast terrorist operations in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
Not being told to the American people about Bout is his “special relationship” with Igor Sechin, who today serves as Russia's deputy prime minister and who is widely considered the second-most-important person in that country after Putin.

Russia’s concern over the United States intentions towards them rested with Putin’s belief that the Americans, under a right-wing government led by President Bush, would make a push for Global hegemony targeting both Iraq and Afghanistan first in a bid to control the vast oil and gas resources of Central Asia, and which would ultimately leave both Russia and China vulnerable to US military power encircling them.
Putin further believed that prior to the United States beginning its war for Global hegemony it would first have to initiate what is called its “Garden Plot” plan that with their release in 2009 under a US Freedom of Information Act lawsuit shows the US Military’s plan to impose martial law and intern dissidents and others in an undisclosed number of concentration camps should America be attacked.
Putin’s fears were realized when on September 11, 2001 the United States activated its “Garden Plot” plans in response to the attacks against it that was quickly blamed on their own CIA agent Tim Osman, (aka Osama bin Laden) thus enabling the Americans to begin their war of Global hegemony, and which by now has become the longest war in their history.
Unbeknownst to the Americans, however, was that Bout (who the CIA still believed was their asset) the week before the 9/11 attacks was tasked by his CIA handler Plame to deliver to Houston, Texas approximately 15 tonnes of Russian military PVV-5A Plastic Explosive plastic explosive (one of the most powerful in the world) through his, Bout’s Texas based air company IRBIS and to be signed for by Marvin Bush, President George Bush’s younger brother, and Wirt Walker III, George Bush’s cousin.
Important to note about Marvin Bush and Wirt Walker III is that at the time of the 9/11 attacks they were both directors of the American security company named Stratesec (formally known as Securacom) which was given a $8.3 million contract to help provide security at the World Trade Center and which the weekend prior to the attacks completely closed this massive skyscraper complex for 36 hours to “upgrade” its security system.
Now Bout in being curious, to say the least, as to why the Bush Family
needed so much Russian explosives for their “upgrade”
of the World Trade Center complex was “invited”
by Marvin Bush to come to New York City to watch “the big show”, an offer Bout did not refuse. And so the night
prior to 9/11 Bout traveled to
Bout was given a FEMA security pass that gave him unhindered access to the aftermath of the catastrophic attacks upon the World Trade Center complex which these reports document he took full advantage of. Unfortunately for the Americans though was that Bout’s “visit” wearing his FEMA “credentials” was filmed by FEMA’s official videographer Kurt Sonnenfeld, who was the only film maker given unrestricted access to the 9/11 site.
Upon Sonnenfeld’s reviewing of all the video he had shot of the 9/11 World Trade Center site he “noticed” what he believed to be a known Russian GRU agent attached to Russia’s New York City embassy talking with a man wearing FEMA security credentials and reported it to his superiors. Three short weeks later Sonnenfeld’s wife was dead from a gunshot wound to her head and he was arrested for her murder. Fortunately for Sonnenfeld he had hidden all of the copies of footage he had taken on 9/11 (22 hours worth) so it was not found when his house and office were searched.
By the summer of 2004 the CIA using Sonnenfeld’s video had positively
identified Bout as being a “major intelligence
asset” of Russia’s FSB causing President Bush to issue Executive Order
13348 freezing all of his known assets the world over. In 2005 Bout’s name also appeared on the

To how the extraordinary saga of Bout will end it is not in our knowing. What is in our knowing, however, is that with so much at stake, and as powerful as Bout is, neither the United States or Russia will rest until he they have gained custody of him and which, to say the least, a major war between them can not be ruled out as the “fate of nations” literally hangs in the balance over the most wanted man in the World sleeping tonight in Bangkok prison.
