A new darkness is
descending upon
In what they
describe as a “pioneering Web model”, the giant
This move by the US
media corporations against the American people was not unanticipated as the
powerful chairman of the powerful News Corporation, Rupert Murdoch, who in
announcing his companies intention to start charging Internet subscription fees
for news had previously warned, “We
are in the midst of an epochal debate over the value of content, and it is
clear to many newspapers the current model is malfunctioning.”
Combined with
Newsday.Com’s opening salvo, in what is most assuredly going to be a short war,
the battle for Net
Neutrality has also begun in the United States with their Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) voting to attempt to stop the giant US media
giants from throttling the access of Americans to the Internet by restricting
their access through a multi-tiered web access system only the richest of them
will be able to afford, but which the powerful US Senator, and former
Presidential contender, John McCain, has “vowed”
to stop by taking, by law, from the FCC the power to protect their own
citizens.
Further joining
this war is the popular free TV and video site Hulu.Com, whose owners (News
Corporation, NBC Universal, Walt Disney Company, and Providence Equity
Partners) just announced
their intention to start charging fees for its usage too.
Being lost upon the
American people (who have already destroyed their once free and vibrant
newspaper industry) is that lie they have been led to believe, that everything
on the Internet is free, is about to
be revealed for what it truly is…a “drug”
given without cost to an unsuspecting addict until all competition is destroyed
and the “pusher” then able to charge
even the most outlandish prices for their “product”.
So successful have
the US corporate giants become in addicting the American people to whatever
they choose that one credit card company, Premium Bank of South Dakota, is now
charging an interest
rate of 79.9% for a MasterCard, and which even such an outlandish and
staggering cost as this will pale in comparison to what these poor souls will
soon be paying for their access to the “free”
Internet.
With the highest
Internet broadband fees in the US set to hit $1,500
for a year, subscription prices for just 3 news outlets costing another
$1,000 a year, added to the fees for 2 social networking sites that will cost a
further $2,000, and all of these joined with the costs of the new duel-core
processing computing systems they will need to view the graphic laden websites
they are paying for, around $3,000, their yearly costs for just the bare
minimum of access will reach nearly $8,000 a year!
And just like the
once free press in Germany (which prior to the fascist Nazi takeover had nearly
5,000 newspapers that were reduced to around 1,000, and were only allowed
to print what the government told them to) the United States has gone from once
having thousands of independent newspapers, TV stations, magazines and radio
stations, to today, where just 6 media giants
(General Electric, Walt Disney, News Corporation, Time Warner, Viacom and CBS)
control nearly everything these once free people see, hear and read.
The greatest danger
being faced by these Americans in all of this is simple, they are ONLY
going to be told what their corporate/government masters want them to know and
are going to be kept in a perpetual state of fear so that they can be more
easily managed and manipulated as they are robbed of their money, jobs, dignity
and honor to the point they will be rendered as nothing more than debt slaves
in service to their billionaire masters.
What they won’t be
told is how their Federal Reserve Bank has created a number of Limited
Liability Corporations (LLC) to hold their countries toxic debt, such as the Maiden Lane
LLC (Maiden Lane is the name of the lower Manhattan street behind the New
York Fed's building) that are nothing more than “time bombs” ready to explode upon the US economy.
Also not to their
knowing is the critically important Chicago Board Options Exchange Volatility
Index (VIX), and
which when coupled with the Baltic Dry Index (BDI)
and the reports from the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) point to nothing
less than the “Financial Armageddon” of the
United States.
But to worst of all
of these things is that our World’s only defense against this coming Dark Age
are the American people themselves, but who remain in a stupor of ignorance and
stupidity rivaling that of the Romans who drank and fornicated their empire
away in an orgy of decadence not seen in history until…NOW!
To what will
finally awaken these American peoples righteous wrath against their cruel and
despotic masters it is not in our knowing, other than to note, that if history
be our guide, it won’t be until millions of them have been butchered.
Therefore, the
candles of light against this darkness must be kept lit for those Americans,
who in awakening from their long sleep to the full reality of the horrors
around them, will be able to be guided to the truth,
and once possessing the truth be able to act upon it.
We are but one such
candle of light shining into this darkness, but our flame grows dimmer by the day,
and which without your help will be extinguished…forever.
As we have just
concluded our fund raising appeal for this seasons we remain short (very close,
but still short) of the mark needed to continue our efforts, and only those of
you who haven’t given already to support us is this appeal directed, for it is
you who we seek to help the most.
It goes without
saying that you don’t believe you have any part in this war, but you couldn’t
be more wrong as this is a once-in-an-age battle that will determine all of our
futures for countless years to come, including your own.
Your corporate/government
masters know, beyond a SINGLE DOUBT, that YOU ARE THEIR ENEMY. If you don’t believe this then you really need to go to any of your
government/corporate/banking buildings and see that they’ve all become armed
fortresses deliberately designed for the day when you do wake up and realize
what has happened to you and your country.
And that day is
coming sooner than you think!
Now, not tomorrow,
not next week, or next year…NOW is the time to stand up and
be counted….when it makes a difference, when it really counts. To do anything less marks you as someone not
able to take responsibility for the truth you know is going to come. And as one
of the Founding Fathers of America, Thomas Paine, once said, “If there must be
trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.”
Trouble is now in
your day. What are you going to do about
it?

that if you don’t find us of value than go back to your mainstream propaganda
news masters instead of costing us so much money. The burden you have put upon others to pay
for what you receive is not only wrong it lacks dignity. So, this is our last
appeal to you, and unless you wake up and realize what is happening you will
leave us no choice but to close off our site to you and make it accessible to
those who will pay for it. And don’t blame us, it’s the future…get used to it.]
