American Brain Prize In War For Attention Meets Media Apocalypse

Late last evening, the Trump Administration approved the takeover of global media-entertainment behemoth Paramount Pictures by media-finance giant Skydance Media—the Trump Administration approved the deal after receiving assurances from Skydance that the new company would be committed to unbiased journalism and would not establish programs related to diversity, equity and inclusion—and Chairman Brendan Carr of the Federal Communications Commission declared: “Americans no longer trust the legacy national news media to report fully, accurately and fairly...It is time for a change...That is why I welcome Skydance’s commitment to make significant changes at the once storied CBS broadcast network”.
The Paramount Pictures owned CBS broadcast network, as most of you know, set off a leftist firestorm last week when it canceled “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”—the radical leftist Stephen Colbert show has been losing $40 million a year, which explains the news: “Paramount's stock has dropped more than 60% in value over the past four years”—and is a takeover of Paramount by Skydance joined with the bleak revelation: “For the first time since Nielsen began tracking TV use by platform four years ago — and probably the first time ever, considering broadcast’s dominant place for much of television history — over-the-air networks accounted for less than 20 percent of viewing in June”.
In stark contrast to Paramount, the American multinational computer technology company Oracle Corporation is one of the richest and most powerful corporations in the world—Oracle Corporation co-founder and chairman Larry Ellison is the second wealthiest person in the world—his son David Ellison is the founder and CEO of Skydance Media—both Larry and David Ellison have long close ties to President Donald Trump—so the truth about the leftist outrage over this gargantuan media takeover is now known to you.
As for what is being battled over in this titanic war between President Trump and the leftist mainstream propaganda media, the New York Times truthfully revealed: “The American brain is the prize in a war for attention online”—is a war met with the article “Inside The Media’s Traffic Apocalypse”, that revealed: “Traffic headwinds are not exactly a new problem for media companies, but it has only gotten worse...The problem started with Facebook pivoting away from the news in 2022, and has accelerated in recent months as Google makes seemingly corrosive changes to its search algorithm while rolling out the innovation that will one day replace traditional search results: AI summaries”—and is war about which the Wall Street Journal warned: “The digital explosion inevitably means smaller average audiences—and less shared experience”.
